First look, yes or no?

YESSS! 1000%.   I was originally against it, but changing my mind was the best decision.  I’m huge on tradition, so I wasn’t about to shake anything up- especially on our wedding day.  I had everything planned in my head and I already knew what I was going to do (I’m very type A if you can’t tell).  My mother kept pushing me to reconsider, and she did have a point.  Having an evening wedding in the fall presents a hug challenge; the sun goes down much earlier.  Finally after my mother’s many attempts to change my mind, I decided to go with the “first look”.  Looking back, it was a huge positive, and it helped us to stay on track with time as well.  Time literally evaporates on your wedding day.  My husband and I now have amazing pre-wedding photos and footage that I know would have never happened without the first look.  Having a wedding is all about creating and capturing lasting memories, and with the first look we have some amazing moments that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. 

The first look also help rid some of the nerves and gave us an opportunity to see each other first without anyone else, and it felt like heaven on earth.  And, we didn’t feel any different as I walked down the aisle.  We were still emotional and of course I cried.  We are so happy and pleased, everything was perfect.  Thanks again Blake for everything.  Our day was a fairytale and dream come true!
